Hi, I’m Carolyn Ferros, and I’m running for East Longmeadow Town Council because I believe in the strength of community, the power of listening, and the importance of taking meaningful action. I may have only moved to East Longmeadow in 2020, but this town quickly became home - and I’ve been actively involved ever since.
One of the most impactful experiences I’ve had here was leading the successful “Yes” campaign for the new East Longmeadow High School. It was a true grassroots effort that brought residents, families, and town leaders together around a shared vision for our students and our future. That campaign wasn’t just about a building - it was about investing in our community, and it showed me just how much we can accomplish when we come together with purpose.
My decision to run for Town Council comes from that same place of commitment and care. I want to be a voice for thoughtful progress - someone who listens, asks the right questions, and works hard to represent the people of East Longmeadow with transparency, integrity, and heart.
Professionally, as a small business owner in town, I bring strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset. With a background in real estate photography, I have a unique window into the way our neighborhoods are growing and evolving. I understand the value of smart development, protecting what makes East Longmeadow special, and ensuring that our infrastructure and services keep pace with our needs.
Most of all, I believe local government should be accessible and responsive. I want to make sure every resident feels heard, every concern is taken seriously, and every decision made reflects what’s best for all of us - now and for the next generation.
Let’s build it together.
